Congratulations to the team at Abbeyfield Yarmouth who have pushed the boat out for the second year running, winning 1st prize with their amazing float in the 100th Carnival Procession. This was held on 14th August in Yarmouth and not only were the costumes and decorations made by the residents, staff and committee members, but they also held workshops at the house for six weeks prior to the event to put them all together. That’s dedication for you!
Last year's entry won 1st prize and this year they have won 1st prize again - especially memorable for the centennial procession! They are fast becoming a force to be reckoned with on the carnival circuit! All the people pictured below are either Abbeyfielders or Abbeyfield volunteers and we think the float looks fabulous.
