Abbeyfield provides this support through a range of services, all of which are linked to the local community. Abbeyfield currently owns and manages around 200 houses and around 20 care homes, with a further 250 affiliated Abbeyfield Society houses and 60 care homes across the UK.
In our houses, residents live as they would in their own homes, but with a little extra assistance from us. Our care homes provide 24 hour care for those who are in need of greater support.
Each house and home is supervised by a Manager who leads a team that carry out, dependent on their job role, all aspects of care and support, cooking, cleaning and security.
