Calling all wannabe wine connoisseurs – here’s your opportunity to pit your wits against a panel of wine experts in a fun and informative evening of wine tasting. And there’s a twist! Our 3 experts will be leading you through a variety of wines of different complexity and character but only one of them will be telling the truth. Then it’s down to you to decide – Wine Bluff or Buff?
You’ll be competing in tables as we go through the evening and the table with the most correct answers will win a case of fabulous wine.
We invite you to kick the night off with a glass of fizz on us to tempt the palate, followed by a range of 6 interesting wines, which we’ll be challenging you to taste blind. There will be plenty of opportunity to fully savour each wine as your table will be served with jugs of wine throughout the event.
And because we know that some of you wine buffs get hungry, you’ll also be served with appetising platters of cheeses, fruit and pates. We’ll be handing out spot prizes for audience quiz questions over the course of the evening as well, so most people won’t go away empty-handed.
With some really great raffle prizes, music and entertainment afterwards and the chance to speak to some independent experts in the wine business, tickets are set to fly off the shelves. Why not book a table with friends if your group is keen on wine, or alternatively come as you are and make new friends on your table.
So, if you think you can tell your Syrah from your Sangiovese, want to educate your palate in a fun atmosphere and believe you can take on the experts, then reserve your place by calling: Nicola Cohen Tel: 07802 465910 E mail: n.cohen@abbeyfield.com or visit www.abbeyfield.com/events
